What this site is

FigureItFast is 22 free online tools, each on its own page, each doing exactly one job. There is no account, no free trial, no "unlock the result" step and no file upload. Everything you see is a static HTML page plus a small amount of JavaScript that does the calculation on your own device.

The site exists because a lot of simple calculations — how much concrete a slab needs, how many yards of backing a quilt takes, what a 1:10 dilution actually means — are badly served by search results that are either giant general-purpose calculator sites or marketing pages for software you would have to buy. A page that answers one question quickly, shows its working, and then gets out of the way is more useful.

How the tools are built

Each tool starts from the actual formula, taken from the primary source where one exists: the World Handicap System rules for the golf handicap calculator, RFC 4180 for CSV parsing, the Fair Labor Standards Act's 40-hour week for overtime, published premix bag yields for concrete, standard baker's percentages for sourdough. Where a calculation is an approximation — bow-front aquarium volume, Doyle log scale, Riegel's race-time formula — the page says so and explains how far off it can be.

Every tool page carries the formula it uses, at least one worked example with real numbers, and answers to the questions people actually ask about that calculation. If a tool cannot give a trustworthy answer for some input, it is meant to say so rather than print a confident wrong number. What FigureItFast does not do

  • No accounts, sign-ups, or email capture.
  • No analytics, tracking pixels, cookies or third-party scripts. See the privacy page.
  • No advertising at the time of writing.
  • No uploads — files you pick in a tool are read by your browser and never sent anywhere.
  • No professional advice. The financial, legal and construction tools are estimators, not a substitute for an accountant, lawyer, engineer or building inspector.
